Lago di Piediluco is a freshwater lake that straddles the border between the regions of Umbria and Lazio in Italy. At an elevation of about 370 m, its surface area varies but is between 1.58 km2 and 1.67 km2 with a perimeter of about 15 km; it has a typical depth of about 10 m and max depth of nearly 20 m.

The Cascata delle Marmore or Marmore Falls is a tiered, man-made waterfall in Italy, created by the Romans in 271 BC. At 165m tall, it is the largest man-made waterfall in the world. It is located 7.7 km from Terni, in the region of Umbria. Cascata delle Marmore is situated 3½ km northwest of Esperimento Galilei.
