Fatlips Castle is a peel tower in Roxburghshire, in the Scottish Borders. Situated at the top of Minto Crags, above the River Teviot, it was built in the 16th century by the Turnbulls of Barnhills, notorious Border reivers, and owners of nearby Barnhills Tower and farm. Fatlips Castle is situated 2 miles west of Ruecastle.

Jedburgh Public Hall known as Jedburgh Town Hall is a listed building in the centre of Jedburgh opposite the ruins of Jedburgh Abbey. It was opened in 1900 as the town's principal public building. It overlooks a large car park which is beside the A68. Jedburgh Town Hall is situated 2½ miles east of Ruecastle.
