The Atlit detainee camp was an internment camp established by the authorities of Mandatory Palestine in the late 1930s on what is now the Israeli coastal plain, 20 kilometres south of Haifa. Atlit camp is situated 620 metres northeast of Le Destroit.

Château Pèlerin, also known as Atlit and Magdiel, is a Crusader fortress and fortified town located about 2 kilometres north of the modern Israeli town of Atlit on the northern coast of Israel, about 13 kilometres south of Haifa. Pelegrin Fortress is situated 1¼ km west of Le Destroit.

Atlit Yam is a submerged Pre Pottery Neolithic C archaeological site located 300–400 meters off the coast of Atlit, Israel. Dating from the late 7th to the early 6th millennia BCE, Atlit Yam provides the earliest known evidence for a community relying on pastoralism, agriculture, and fishing as subsistence systems on the Levantine coast. Atlit Yam is situated 1¼ km west of Le Destroit.
