Kala Patthar is a notable landmark located on the south ridge of Pumori in the Nepali Himalayas above Gorakshep. Although not a proper mountain, with a prominence of only 10 m, the ascent of Kala Patthar is very popular with trekkers in the region of Mount Everest since it provides the most accessible closeup view of Everest. Kalapattar is situated 3 km north of Lobuche Pass.

Kongma Tse is a mountain in the Province No. 1, Nepal. Kongma Tse is part of the Mahalangur Himal and it has an elevation of 5,849 metres. It was formerly called Mehra Peak, but, it was later renamed Kongma Tse to avoid confusion with Mera Peak. Kongma Tse is situated 3 km southeast of Lobuche Pass.
