The Church of the Annunciation, sometimes also referred to as the Basilica of the Annunciation, is a Catholic church in Nazareth, in northern Israel. It is one of two claimants to the site of the Annunciation – in which angel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary and announced that she would give birth to Jesus – the other being the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation. Church of the Annunciation is situated 2 km southeast of al-Kurum/Jbl al-Muqbai.

The mosque is located at the top of the ridge enclosing the city from the north, approximately 150 metres north of the Salesian Basilica of Jesus the Adolescent, providing a panoramic view of Nazareth and the Jezreel Valley to the south, and the Upper Galilee and Haifa outskirts to the north and west. Nabi Saeen Mosque is situated 1½ km east of al-Kurum/Jbl al-Muqbai.
