Zvečan Fortress

The Fortress of Zvečan, also known as Zvečan/Zveçan medieval fortress and Fortress of Mitrovica, located in the northwest of the city of North Mitrovica, in Kosovo, is an enormous castle and one of the oldest fortresses in Southeastern Europe. Zvečan Fortress is situated 630 metres south of Zvečan railway station.

The New Bridge is a steel truss bridge crossing the Ibar river in Mitrovica, Kosovo, connecting South Mitrovica and North Mitrovica. The New Bridge has become an iconic symbol of Kosovo's division, as it separates around 80,000 Kosovo Albanians in the south from around 50 000 Serbs and other nationalities living in the north. New Bridge is situated 2½ km southeast of Zvečan railway station.
