Floors Castle, in Roxburghshire, south-east Scotland, is the seat of the Duke of Roxburghe. Despite its name it is an estate house rather than a fortress. Floors Castle is situated 2 miles northeast of Trows.

Roxburgh

Village

Roxburgh is a village off the A699, by the River Teviot, near Kelso in the Scottish Borders area of Scotland. It should not be confused with the historic royal burgh of Roxburgh, the site of which lies about 2 miles northeast of the present village.

Kelso is a small market town in the Borders region of southern Scotland, with a population of 6900 in 2020. Its name probably derives from Calk Heugh - the "chalk outcrop" which its two rivers cut through.
