Rumtek Monastery

Rumtek Monastery, also called the Dharma Chakra Centre, is a gompa located in the Indian state of Sikkim near the capital Gangtok. It is the seat in exile of the Gyalwang Karmapa, inaugurated in 1966 by the 16th Karmapa. Rumtek Monastery is situated 3½ km south of Rey Monastery.

Fambong Lho Wildlife Sanctuary is a 51 km2 large wildlife sanctuary in Gangtok district of the state of Sikkim in India. It is contiguous with Khangchendzonga National Park and located around 30 km west of Gangtok. Fambong Lho Wildlife Sanctuary is situated 2½ km northwest of Rey Monastery.
