Carlisle Airport

Carlisle Lake District Airport is a small airport located 5 NM north-east of Carlisle, England on a plain near the River Irthing. Originally opened as an RAF base in 1941, it came under government ownership in the 1960s before being sold to Haughey Airports in 2000 which was later purchased and rebranded as Stobart Air Limited.

River Eden

The River Eden is a river that flows through Cumbria, England. It rises on Black Fell Moss, near the village of Outhgill, and runs in a generally north-westerly direction through the Vale of Eden and Solway Plain before reaching the sea at the Solway Firth. River Eden is situated 2½ miles south of Newby East.
