Asgog Loch

Asgog Loch is a natural freshwater loch in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It is located about 4 kilometres southwest of Tighnabruaich, on the Cowal peninsula. Asgog Loch is situated 1½ miles east of Glenan.

Portavadie is a village on the shores of Loch Fyne on the coast of the Cowal Peninsula, in Argyll and Bute, West of Scotland. The Portavadie complex was built in 1975 by the then Scottish Office for the purpose of constructing concrete platforms for extraction of oil from the North Sea.

Kames is a small village on the Cowal Peninsula, in Argyll and Bute, west of Scotland, on the shore of the west arm of the Kyles of Bute. Kames is now part of a continuous coastal strip of housing that joins onto Tighnabruaich. Kames is situated 3 miles east of Glenan.
