University Hospital Wishaw is a district general hospital in Wishaw, North Lanarkshire, situated between the areas of Craigneuk to the north and Netherton to the south. The hospital, managed by NHS Lanarkshire, is 11 miles southeast of Glasgow.

Overtown is a village in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. It is located to the east of the River Clyde, about one mile south of Wishaw. Originally developed as a mining village in the 19th century, its population declined after the closure of the coal mines and the associated railways in the 1950s. Overtown is situated 2 miles southeast of Wishawhill.

Most local amenities are shared with the adjacent villages of Holytown, Newarthill and New Stevenston which have a combined population of around 20,000 across the four localities.
