Chennai Central, is a railway station in Chennai, India. It is one of the busiest railway stations in South India and a major rail hub in the country. It is classified as a NSG–1 category station and comes under the purview of the Chennai railway division of the Southern Railway zone of the Indian Railways. Chennai Central railway station is situated 360 metres northeast of Chennai Park railway station.

Victoria Public Hall, or the Town Hall, is a historical building in Chennai, named after Victoria, Empress of India. It is one of the finest examples of British architecture in Chennai and was built to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria. Victoria Public Hall is situated 150 metres north of Chennai Park railway station.
