Canvey Island

Canvey Island is a town, civil parish and island in the Thames Estuary. It forms part of the Castle Point district of Essex, England. It is separated from the mainland of south Essex by a network of creeks, but is connected to the mainland by bridges.

Lower Horse is a 31.1-acre uninhabited island off the English coast, lying in the Thames Estuary between Canvey Island and Stanford-le-Hope, close to grid reference TQ760828.

Cooling Castle

Cooling Castle is a 14th-century quadrangular castle in the village of Cooling, Kent on the Hoo Peninsula about 6 miles north of Rochester. It was built in the 1380s by the Cobham family, the local lords of the manor, to guard the area against French raids into the Thames Estuary.

Hadleigh is a town in the borough of Castle Point, in the south-east of Essex, England. It lies on the A13 road between Thundersley, Benfleet and Leigh-on-Sea. The A127 'Southend Arterial Road' bypasses the town to the north.
