Damhead Creek power station is a 792 MWe gas-fired power station in Kent, England, on the Hoo Peninsula, It is near the site of the decommissioned Kingsnorth power station. The plant entered service in February 2001.

Hoo St Werburgh, commonly known as Hoo, is a large village and civil parish in the Medway district of Kent, England. It is one of several villages on the Hoo Peninsula to bear the name Hoo, a Saxon word believed to mean "spur of land" or to refer to the "distinct heel-shape of the ridge of hills" through the settlement. Hoo St Werburgh is situated 2½ miles west of Long Reach.
