Crooksbury Hill

Crooksbury Hill is a 17.2-hectare nature reserve within Puttenham and Crooksbury Commons east of Farnham in Surrey. It is owned by Surrey County Council and managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust.

Waverley Abbey was the first Cistercian abbey in England, founded in 1128 by William Giffard, the Bishop of Winchester. Located about 2 miles southeast of Farnham, Surrey, it is situated on a flood-plain; surrounded by current and previous channels of the River Wey. Waverley Abbey is situated 1¼ miles west of Crooksbury Common.
