Zoomarine Rome-Italy is a zoological park, oceanarium, amusement park and water park, located in Lazio, southwest of Rome, in Torvajanica, Pomezia. Inaugurated in September 2005, it is owned by Dolphin Discovery from August 2015.

Pratica di Mare Air Base is a military airport of the Italian Air Force, located in Pomezia, Lazio, southwest of Rome. It was first opened in 1937, and in 1957, it was named after Colonnello Mario de Bernardi.

Torvaianica or Torvajanica is a frazione of the comune of Pomezia, in the Metropolitan City of Rome, central Italy. Counting some 12,700 inhabitants, it extends for some eight kilometres on central Lazio's littoral. Torvaianica is situated 3 km southeast of Zingarini.

The beach of Capocotta is the area of the Roman coast between Castel Porziano and Torvaianica, one of the best preserved stretches of dunes in Italy. With an extension of 45 hectares, since 1996 it is part of the Litorale Romano State Nature Reserve. Capocotta is situated 4 km northwest of Zingarini.
