Shirat HaYam was an Israeli settlement established in 2001 on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea west of Neve Dekalim in the Gush Katif settlement bloc in the Gaza Strip that existed until 2005. Shirat HaYam is situated 780 metres northeast of Kfar Yam.

Neve Dekalim was an Israeli settlement in the Gaza Strip. Comprising a part of Gush Katif, it was founded in 1983, shortly after Israel withdrew from the Sinai Peninsula to fulfill the Egypt–Israel peace treaty. Neve Dekalim is situated 1½ km southeast of Kfar Yam.
