Fairburn Tower

Fairburn Tower is a recently restored Scottish castle near Inverness and Muir of Ord in the parish of Urray. The tower house on a hill above the River Orrin is believed to have been built in 1545 for Murdo Mackenzie. Fairburn Tower is situated 2,200 feet north of Falls of Orrin.

Loch nam Bonnach is a remote mountain loch, situated on the edge of Farley Wood in the Highland council area of Scotland. The nearest settlement to it is Ardnagrask, a small crofting community 2.1 miles to the east—although it is more typically accessed via the forestry tracks leading from nearby Beauly. Loch nam Bonnach is situated 2½ miles south of Falls of Orrin.
