Adam's Peak is a 2,243-metre-tall conical sacred mountain located in central Sri Lanka. It is well known for the Sri Pada, a 1.8 m rock formation near the summit whose name is also used for the mountain itself. Adam’s Peak is situated 3½ km southwest of Grand Adamspeak.

The Maskeliya Dam is a large gravity dam at Maskeliya, in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. Along with the Castlereigh Dam, the dams are the highest point and beginning of the Laxapana Hydropower Complex, involving a number of dams, penstocks, and hydroelectric power stations. Maskeliya Dam is situated 3 km northeast of Grand Adamspeak.

Dalhousie, Nallathanniya or Delhousie is a village in Nuwara Eliya District, Sri Lanka. The village is two hours from Hatton city and situated en route to Adam's Peak. The village borrowed its name from a nearby tea estate.
