RRH Benbecula

Remote Radar Head Benbecula or RRH Benbecula, is an air defence radar station operated by the Royal Air Force. Despite its name, it is not located on the nearby island of Benbecula; instead it is located on South Clettraval on the isle of North Uist, 11 miles from Lochmaddy in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. RRH Benbecula is situated 950 feet northeast of St Kilda Viewpoint.

Scolpaig Tower

Scolpaig Tower is a Georgian folly located near the village of Scolpaig on the island of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. The name probably derives from the Old Norse scolpvik, or 'Scolp Bay'. Scolpaig Tower is situated 2½ miles northwest of St Kilda Viewpoint.
