Hoove is a hill in the northern Yorkshire Dales in North Yorkshire, England, near the town of Barnard Castle in County Durham. Its elevation is 554 metres, and it is classified as a Marilyn. Hoove is situated 1½ miles northeast of Gales Head Moor.

St Mary the Virgin's Church is the parish church of Arkengarthdale, a valley in North Yorkshire, in England. There was a mediaeval church in Arkle Town in Arkengarthdale, but its foundations were undermined by the Arkle Beck, and it was pulled down in the 1810s.
