Polbain is a remote crofting township, located on the north Badentarbat Bay on the west coast of Scotland, in western Ross-shire, Scottish Highlands and is in the Scottish council area of Highland.

Coigach is a peninsula north of Ullapool, in Wester Ross in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland. The area consists of a traditional crofting and fishing community of a couple of hundred houses located between mountain and shore on a peninsula looking over the Summer Isles and the sea. Coigach is situated 2½ miles northeast of Ardnagoine.
