The Sioni Cathedral of the Dormition is a Georgian Orthodox cathedral located in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Following a medieval Georgian tradition of naming churches after specific places in the Holy Land, the Sioni Cathedral bears the name of Mount Zion at Jerusalem.

The Great Synagogue, also known as the Georgian Synagogue, is a synagogue, located at 45-47 Kote Afkhazi Street in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Built between 1904 and 1911, it is the largest synagogue in the country and serves as the central house of worship for the city’s Jewish community. The Great Synagogue is situated 110 metres south of Tbilisi History Museum.
