Whin Rigg is a fell in the English Lake District, situated in the western segment of the national park, 22 kilometres south east of the town of Whitehaven.

Illgill Head

Illgill Head is a fell in the English Lake District. It is known more commonly as the northern portion of the Wastwater Screes. The fell is 609 metres high and stands along the south-east shore of Wastwater, the deepest lake in England.

Buckbarrow

Buckbarrow is a small fell in the English Lake District overlooking the western end of Wastwater. It is featured in Alfred Wainwright’s Pictorial Guide to the Lakeland Fells and is given a height of 1,410 ft approximately; however, the Ordnance Survey and other guidebooks now give an altitude of 423 m. Buckbarrow is situated 1½ miles northwest of Broken Rib.

Nether Wasdale is a village in Cumbria, England, located in the valley and civil parish of Wasdale, near the River Irt and just over a mile to the west of the Wastwater lake. Nether Wasdale is situated 2 miles west of Broken Rib.

Boot

Boot is a small village in Eskdale on the western side of the English Lake District. It lies within the civil parish of Eskdale, the unitary authority of Cumberland, and the ceremonial county of Cumbria. Boot is situated 2½ miles southeast of Broken Rib.

Eskdale Green

Eskdale Green is a small village in Cumbria at one end of the Eskdale Valley. The hamlet of Boot has an old corn mill in the heart but wander south away from the mill to find the little old church by the river.
