West Yan'an Road is the name of an interchange station between Lines 3 and 4 on the Shanghai Metro network. The station is named after Yan'an Road, and opened on 26 December 2000 as part of the initial section of Line 3 from Shanghai South Railway Station to Jiangwan Town, and Line 4 service began here on the final day of 2005.

Zhongshan Park, formerly called Jessfield Park and Zhaofeng Park, is a park in Changning District, Shanghai, China. The park has a large collection of trees and flowers. People fly kites and play sport games on the large meadow areas. Zhongshan Park is situated 1¼ km north of West Yan’an Road.

Changshou Road Subdistrict is a subdistrict on the southern side of Putuo District, Shanghai. The subdistrict was formed on 23 October 1991 from the merger of Jiaozhou Road Subdistrict and Putuo Road Subdistrict and was expanded in April 2004 when parts of Baiyu Subdistrict, Shiquan Subdistrict and Dongxin Subdistrict during an area adjustment of Putuo District. Changshoulu is situated 3½ km northeast of West Yan’an Road.
