Kirby Frith is a 2.1-hectare Local Nature Reserve on the western outskirts of . It is owned and managed by Leicester City Council. This site is described by Natural England as the richest wildflower grassland in the county, with species such as devil's-bit scabious, betony and yellow rattle.

, also known historically as Kirby Castle, is a ruined, fortified manor house in , , England. William, Lord Hastings, began work on the castle in 1480, founding it on the site of a pre-existing manor house.
