It serves the Blue Mountains town of Wentworth Falls opening on 22 July 1867 as Weatherboard, being renamed Wentworth Falls on 21 April 1879. Wentworth Falls railway station is situated 390 metres southeast of Weatherboard Inn archaelological site.
