Buckbarrow

Buckbarrow is a small fell in the English Lake District overlooking the western end of Wastwater. It is featured in Alfred Wainwright’s Pictorial Guide to the Lakeland Fells and is given a height of 1,410 ft approximately; however, the Ordnance Survey and other guidebooks now give an altitude of 423 m.

Middle Fell is a hill or fell in the English Lake District. It is a satellite of Seatallan standing above the northern shore of Wastwater. Middle Fell can be climbed from Greendale near the foot of Wastwater, and a fine view of the lake backed by the Wastwater Screes is visible from the summit.

Nether Wasdale is a village in Cumbria, England, located in the valley and civil parish of Wasdale, near the River Irt and just over a mile to the west of the Wastwater lake. Nether Wasdale is situated 1½ miles southwest of Greendale.

Santon Bridge is a small village in Cumberland, Cumbria, England, at a bridge over the River Irt. The civil parish is called Irton with Santon. The population of this civil parish as at the 2011 census was 316. Santon Bridge is situated 3 miles southwest of Greendale.

Wasdale Head is a scattered agricultural hamlet in the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, England. Wasdale Head claims to be home of the highest mountain, deepest lake, smallest church and biggest liar in England. Wasdale Head is situated 3½ miles northeast of Greendale.
