Souther Fell is a fell in the English Lake District. It stands to the south of Mungrisdale village in the Northern Fells. It is most famous for the appearance of a "spectral army", said to have been seen marching along its crest on Midsummer's Day, 1745.

The Mosedale Viaduct carried the Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith Railway over Mosedale Beck until its closure in 1972. Building work on the viaduct began in 1862, and the first test train crossed it in 1864. Mosedale Viaduct is situated 1¼ miles southwest of Mungrisdale Road end (E bound).
