Thurso railway station is a railway station located in Thurso, in the Highland council area in the far north of Scotland. It serves the town and its surrounding areas, along with ferry services linking the mainland with Stromness on the Orkney Islands. Thurso railway station is situated 2 miles southwest of Radio Station.

Holborn Head is a rocky headland on the north-facing Atlantic coast of Caithness, Scotland. It forms the western termination of Thurso Bay. The name Holborn apparently comes from the Old Norse Hóllborg, meaning "hill fort". Holburn Head Lighthouse is situated 2½ miles west of Radio Station.
