Kegon Falls is located at Lake Chūzenji in Nikkō National Park near the city of Nikkō, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. The falls were formed when the Daiya River was rerouted by lava flows.

Chūzen-ji is a Buddhist temple standing on the shore of Lake Chuzenji of the city of Nikkō, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. It belongs to the Tendai school of Japanese Zen and its honzon is a statue of Jūichimen Senjū Kannon Bosatsu. Chūzen Temple is situated 1¼ km southwest of Kegon Falls.
