Nethy Bridge is a small village in Strathspey in the Highland council area of Scotland. The village lies 5 miles south of Grantown-on-Spey within the historical parish of Abernethy and Kincardine, and the Cairngorms National Park. Nethy Bridge is situated 3½ miles west of Upper Plotta.

Grantown-on-Spey is a town in the Spey Valley in the central Scottish Highlands, 20 miles southeast of Inverness. To the west is the "strath" or broad valley of the River Spey, which here narrows to descend east through the Cairngorms towards the coast in Moray. Dulnain Bridge is situated 4½ miles northwest of Upper Plotta.
