Brae Fell is situated 1½ miles southeast of High Intack.

It is about 5 miles from Caldbeck, 2 miles from Ireby with which it now forms the civil parish of Ireby and Uldale together with Aughertree. Uldale is situated 1½ miles west of High Intack.
