Fort Kinnaird is a large outdoor retail park in Newcraighall, located off the A1 in the south-east of Edinburgh, Scotland. Often known simply as "the Fort" to locals, it is currently the second largest retail park in the UK with 75 units occupied. Fort Kinnaird is situated 530 feet southeast of Fort Kinnaird.

Newcraighall is a South-Eastern suburb of Edinburgh, Scotland. A former mining village, its prosperity was based on the Midlothian coalfields. The Newcraighall pit was known as 'Klondyke' and closed in the 1960s, work transferring to nearby Bilston Glen and in particular the last-to-close Monktonhall pit.
