Whitegate is a village on the R352 regional road in northeastern County Clare, Ireland. It is part of the Catholic parish Mountshannon-Whitegate. The former local church, which had been in disuse for some years, is now a warehouse and lumberyard.

Mountshannon is a village in east County Clare, Ireland. It is part of the civil parish of Inishcaltra. The village is on the western shore of Lough Derg, north of Killaloe. Mountshannon won the Irish Tidy Towns Competition in 1981.

Nenagh is a market town in County Tipperary, Ireland: in Irish it's Aonach Urmhumhan, the market Fair of Ormond. Tipperary was from 1838 divided into a north and south riding, but this was abolished in 2014, so Nenagh became the county town jointly with Clonmel and had a population in 2022 of 9900.
