Hai Bà Trưng Temple
The Hai Bà Trưng Temple is a place of worship in Hanoi near Hoàn Kiếm Lake. It is one of several temples to the two Trưng Sisters in Vietnam. According to tradition it was founded by Lý Anh Tông around 1160 after he visited a shrine to the Trưng Sisters, who then appeared to him as rain spirits.Photo: Guerinf, CC BY-SA 4.0.

The Hanoi Opera House, or the Grand Opera House is an opera house in central Hanoi, Vietnam. Built by the French colonial administration between 1901 and 1911, it is one of three opera houses built during the colonial period in French Indochina, alongside Haiphong Opera House and Municipal Theatre in Ho Chi Minh City. Opera House is situated 1¼ km north of Hai Bà Trưng Temple.

The Vietnamese Women's Museum, is a museum established and operated by the Vietnam Women’s Union, officially opened its doors to public in 1995. The four-storey building is in Hanoi, Ly Thuong Kiet Street, situated along the central Hoan Kiem Lake and old quarter. Vietnamese Women’s Museum is situated 1¼ km north of Hai Bà Trưng Temple.

Hỏa Lò Prison was a prison in Hanoi originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. Hoa Lo Prison is situated 1½ km northwest of Hai Bà Trưng Temple.
