Tel Hazor

Tel Hazor, translated in LXX as Hasōr, and in Arabic Tell Waqqas or Tell Qedah el-Gul, is an archaeological tell at the site of ancient Hazor, located in the Upper Galilee, north of the Sea of Galilee, in the northern Korazim Plateau. Tel Hazor is situated 3½ km west of Vered HaYarden 2.

Yarda was a Palestinian hamlet in the Safad Subdistrict. It was depopulated during the 1947–1949 Palestine war. It was located 10.5 km northeast of Safad. The area is now part of Israel. Yarda is situated 1 km west of Vered HaYarden 2.

Jacob’s Ford

Chastelet was a castle located beside Jacob's Ford, a ford of the upper Jordan River in Israel. The castle was built during the Crusades by the Knights Templar and the forces of the Kingdom of Jerusalem but was destroyed by the army of Saladin in 1179. Jacob’s Ford is situated 2 km east of Vered HaYarden 2.

Mishmar HaYarden is a moshav in northern Israel. Located in the Korazim Plateau, on Highway 91 between Mahanayim and Gadot, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mevo'ot HaHermon Regional Council. In 2023 it had a population of 934.

Ayelet HaShahar is a kibbutz in northern Israel acquired in 1892 and settled in the second Aliyah, located on the Korazim Plateau, by the Rosh Pina – Metulla road, it is approximately 35 kilometres south of the city of Kiryat Shmona and falls under the jurisdiction of Upper Galilee Regional Council. Ayelet HaShahar is situated 3 km northwest of Vered HaYarden 2.
