Txurdinaga station

Txurdinaga is a station on Line 3 of the Bilbao Metro and Euskotren Trena commuter and regional rail services. The station is located in the neighborhood of Txurdinaga, part of the Otxarkoaga-Txurdinaga district of Bilbao. It opened on 8 April 2017.

The Basilica of Begoña is a basilica in Bilbao, in Spain, dedicated to the patroness saint of Biscay, the image of Our Lady of Begoña. The current parish priest is Jesús Francisco de Garitaonandia. Basilica of Begoña is situated 590 metres west of Txurdinaga station.

The Teatro Arriaga, or Arriaga Antzokia in Basque, is an opera house located on the Nervión River in Bilbao, Spain. It was built in Neo-Baroque style by architect Joaquín Rucoba in 1890, the same architect that built the city hall. Teatro Arriaga is situated 1½ km west of Txurdinaga station.

Begoña is a historical municipality of Biscay and is a neighbourhood and urban district of Bilbao. Begoña, or more puristically but also more rarely spelled Begoina, means 'the lower foot', referring to the slopes of Mount Artxanda which lie to the north of the city.
