Longtown is a market town in Cumbria, but in the historic county of Cumberland, England, just south of the Scottish Border. It has a sheep market which was at the centre of the 2001 United Kingdom foot-and-mouth crisis. Longtown is situated 4 miles southeast of Greenwrae.
