The Lehavim–Rahat railway station is a station on the Israel Railways lines between Tel Aviv and Beersheba, located near Lehavim Junction. The station was opened on June 23, 2007. Lehavim Rahat is situated 4 km southeast of District 5.

Rahat is a city of 70,000 in the southern Negev region of Israel. It was founded in 1972 as a home for the previously nomadic Bedouin Arabs, who form the large majority of its population. It is the largest Bedouin settlement in the world.

Shoval is a kibbutz in southern Israel. Located in the northern Negev desert near the Bedouin city of Rahat, it falls under the jurisdiction of Bnei Shimon Regional Council. In 2023 it had a population of 1,032. Shoval is situated 3½ km northwest of District 5.
