Panix Pass or Panixer Pass is a Swiss Alpine pass between the cantons of Glarus and Graubünden. The pass was once an important trade route between the canton of Glarus and Italy. Panix Pass is situated 2½ km northwest of Alp Ranasca.

Pigniu is situated 3 km south of Alp Ranasca.

Andiast is a former municipality in the Surselva Region in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. Until 1943, it was known as Andest. Lying close to the ski resorts of Waltensburg/Vuorz and Breil/Brigels, Andiast is known for its winter sports. Andiast is situated 6 km south of Alp Ranasca.
