West Wight Sports and Community Centre is a registered charity providing sports, health and fitness to the West Wight. Based in Moa place, Freshwater, on the Isle of Wight, the sports and community centre has swimming pools, sports hall, gym, cafe, meeting rooms, exercise classes, community kitchen, IT suite, hair salon, and hydrotherapy. West Wight Sports Centre is situated 1,500 feet southeast of West Wight Heritage Centre.

Dimbola was the home and workplace of the Victorian pioneer photographer Julia Margaret Cameron, where she lived from 1860 to 1875 on the Isle of Wight It is now a museum and galleries dedicated to her life and work which also showcases contemporary exhibitions of photographers from around the world. Dimbola Museum and Galleries is situated 1 mile southeast of West Wight Heritage Centre.

Yarmouth is an attractive little town at the western tip of the Isle of Wight, just offshore of the South East of England. Colwell Bay is a bay in the west of the Isle of Wight. It is located between the towns of Totland and Yarmouth. The bay's northernmost point is Cliff's End the closest point of the Island to the British mainland, with Hurst Castle situated at the end of a long peninsula just under a mile to the northwest.
