The Monastery of Saint Varlaam is a Greek Orthodox monastery in central Greece, situated in the Pineios Valley northeast of the town of Kalambaka. It is located at the top of a rocky precipice that is 373 metres above the valley floor. The Holy Monastery of Varlaam is situated 210 metres east of Ypsilotera monastery.

The Monastery of Saint Nicholas Anapausas is a former Greek Orthodox monastery near the town of Kalambaka, in the Thessaly region of central Greece. It is located at the top of a rocky precipice over 415 metres above the Pineios valley floor. Holy Monastery of St. Nikolaos of Anapafsas is situated 280 metres southwest of Ypsilotera monastery.
