Dongjiaotou station is a metro station on Line 2 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 28 December 2010. It caters mainly to residents living in existing buildings along Wangxia Road, Shekou Square and the newer developments of "Peninsula I" and "Peninsula II", along the central part of Wanghai Road. Dongjiaotou is situated 1 km southwest of Wanxia.

Shenzhen Bay Port is a juxtaposed border crossing and a port of entry and exit between mainland China and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, located geographically in Dongjiaotou, Shekou, which lies on the southwestern corner of the city of Shenzhen in Guangdong Province. ShenZhen Bay Control Point is situated 1½ km northeast of Wanxia.
