The Grand Duke Jean Museum of Modern Art, abbreviated to Mudam, is a museum of modern art in Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. The museum stands on the site of the old Fort Thüngen, on the southwestern edge of the Kirchberg-plateau, in close proximity to many of the European Union institutions based within the city. MUDAM is situated 440 metres southwest of Centre de télécommunications.

‘La Fontaine’ Castle

La Fontaine Castle was a castle in Clausen, Luxembourg. The elaborate building was the residence of Peter Ernst I von Mansfeld-Vorderort, governor of Luxembourg, who began its construction in 1563 and continued to extend it until his death in 1604. ‘La Fontaine’ Castle is situated 400 metres south of Centre de télécommunications.

Pfaffenthal is a district in central Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. The district owes its name to the German words Pfaffen, meaning monk, and Tal, meaning valley, as the area was once administered by the Benedictine Abbey in Altmunster.
