Crib Goch is a knife-edged arête in the Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd, Wales. The name means "red ridge" in Welsh. The highest point on the arête is 923 metres above sea level.

Garnedd Ugain, the summit of Crib-y-Ddysgl ridge, is a pyramidal mountain in Wales that forms part of the Snowdon Massif. It is the second-highest peak in Wales and lies just under one kilometre north of the summit of Snowdon itself.

Cwm Idwal

Cwm Idwal is a cirque in the Glyderau range of mountains in northern Snowdonia, the national park in the mountainous region of North Wales. Its main interest is to hill walkers and rock climbers, but it is also of interest to geologists and naturalists, given its combination of altitude, aspect and terrain. Cwm Idwal is situated 2 miles northeast of Jammed Boulder Gully.

Rhyd Ddu

Rhyd-ddu is a small village in Snowdonia, North Wales which is a starting point for walks up Snowdon, Moel Hebog, Yr Aran and the Nantlle Ridge. It lies on the A4085 4 miles north of Beddgelert, at its junction with the B4418 to Nantlle and Penygroes. Rhyd Ddu railway station is one of the stops on the Welsh Highland Railway between Caernarfon and Porthmadog.
