The French Concession is the area of Shanghai that the French government administered from 1849 until 1946. The tree-lined avenues and the many fine old houses in the area still retain an air of the "Paris of the East".

The Luwan Gymnasium is a basketball arena, in Luwan District, Shanghai, China. The arena is home to the Shanghai Sharks, a member of the Chinese Basketball Association. The facility seats 3,000 people. Luwan Gymnasium is situated 190 metres northwest of Gimiwear.

Tianzifang or Tianzi Fang is a touristic arts and crafts enclave that has developed from a renovated traditional residential area in the French Concession area of Shanghai. It is now home to boutique shops, bars and restaurants. Tianzifang is situated 580 metres northeast of Gimiwear.
