Cautley Spout is England's highest waterfall above ground. The broken cascade of falls tumbles a total of 650 feet down a cliff face at the head of a wild and bleak glacial valley that comes down from a high plateau called The Calf.

Yarlside is a hill in the Howgill Fells, Cumbria, England. This fell is not to be confused with the Yarlside area near Barrow-in-Furness, once served by the Yarlside Iron Mines tramway.

The Calf, at an elevation of 676 metres, is the highest point in the Howgill Fells, an area of high ground in north-west England. It is in the north-west of the Yorkshire Dales in Westmorland and Furness in the county of Cumbria.

Sedbergh is a town in Cumbria, with a population of 1500 in 2021. It's in the valley of the River Rawthey, which flows into the Lune two miles west. In Old English "setberg" means a flat-topped hill, and it's a base for walking the gritstone moors.

Weasdale is a small hamlet in Cumbria, England, 850 feet above sea-level on the northern flanks of the Howgill Fells. It is located approximately 6 miles south-west of Kirkby Stephen. Weasdale is situated 4 miles north of Cautley Spout Tongue.

Millthrop is a hamlet in the Westmorland and Furness district of Cumbria, Northern England and the Yorkshire Dales. Millthrop lies on the south bank of the River Rawthey close to the town of Sedbergh. Millthrop is situated 4 miles south of Cautley Spout Tongue.
