Am Forsthofweg
Archaeological site
The castellum or small fort nowadays called Am Forsthofweg was a Roman military camp of the Upper Germanic-Rhaetian Limes. It received UNESCO World Heritage status in 2005. Am Forsthofweg is situated 1½ km southeast of Limesturm XI.

Hammerstein Castle is the ruin of a 10th-century mountain castle in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, the oldest in this entire Middle Rhine Valley. The ruin of one of its watchtowers still overlooks the Rhine at an altitude of 195 m, near the village of Hammerstein. Hammerstein castle is situated 4 km south of Limesturm XI.
