Dunmore Cave

Dunmore Cave is a limestone solutional cave in Ballyfoyle, County Kilkenny, Ireland. It is formed in Lower Carboniferous limestone of the Clogrenan Formation. Dunmore Cave is situated 2½ km northwest of Moat Quarter.

Johnswell is a village in County Kilkenny, Ireland. On the village green is a powerful spring and well dedicated to John the Baptist which was traditionally the venue for a local "pattern" of note, while the moat north of the village was the site of St John's Eve bonfires. Johnswell is situated 4 km southeast of Moat Quarter.

Castlecomer

Castlecomer is the largest town in north County Kilkenny in southeast Ireland, with a population in 2022 of 1500. In Irish Caisleán an Chomair is "castle of the confluence", meaning the Norman castle at the confluence of the small rivers Dinin, Brocagh and Cloghogue.
